HFS Technical Director Christopher Alexander will be headed to Houston, TX next week to deliver a presentation on API 1169 to attendees at the Phillips 66 CFR Leadership Conference. In 2017, many Construction Field Representatives (CFRs) at P66 expressed an interested in the 1169 certification, and since HFS is not only a P66 inspection provider but also a long-time leader in API certification prep classes, Hayes Field Services was asked to provide an overview of the 1169 exam and its prep class at this year's CFR conference.
The presentation will take place next Tuesday, February, 13 at the Houston Marriott Westchase, where midstream personnel, contractors, and SMEs from across the country are meeting to discuss the policies, procedures, and best practices that will shape the future of P66 midstream operations.
Tuesday's presentation will cover the history of 1169, growth statistics, certification requirements, and exam tips. Attendees will be introduced to many different resources that will help them in preparing for and passing the API 1169 examination. For those who are unable to attend the conference, the slide deck is here on the HFS website.
For qualified inspectors, HFS also offers an 1169 prep course to assist candidates in passing the exam. We leverage experienced instructors, small class size, and our proprietary computer-based testing simulator to ensure that HFS trainees receive the most comprehensive and up-to-date API test prep available today. Graduates of our courses consistently achieve pass rates above 90%. Many recent classes have even hit 100%!
